I dated a guy for 2 years. for 1.5 years of that relationship we seriously talked about marriage. We went ring shopping, and house shopping, and even made guest lists for the wedding. The problem is he hates his job and he started getting really cranky. He even started ditching me and stopped making effort in our relationship. I'm not perfect, but I always gave it my all and tried so hard to keep us together. He broke up w/me 3 months ago, never giving me a solid reason, He will confirm he still loves me and that he thinks about being with me in the future, but also states that he needs time to figure out his life. For 2 months after the break up we would talk and hang out. but about two weeks ago he started ignoring my calls and texts all together. We didn't fight or anything. He just stopped. I've always been so nice and sweet to him. Why is he doing this?

Let him do his thing. If it's meant to be he will come back.

He already told you. He needs some time and space so that he can figure things out. Guys can't really focus on more than one thing at a time. If you know that he's not happy in his job and he's trying to get out of it, maybe he needs to focus on that for now. And then we he gets a job he's happy with, he'll have more to offer you. I don't know if that makes sense the way that I wrote it but a very similar thing happened to me this summer. Just give him some time.

I think somebody is getting cold feet. Yeah, he's just plain out scared. Find somebody that actually has a pair. Know what I mean?

There is something else going on with this guy... if you don't like your job... you get another one....Why separate yourself from the woman you suppose to love..... sounds like he has found another girl.... sorry .... but if you truly love someone ... you don't leave them....I would stop being so sweet.... he don't deserve you.....

it sounds like he realized what sort of a commitment this could be, and he got scared....

sometimes it takes a while for a guy to realize how serious his relationship has become....

In his mind, I'm thinking he felt like he was a little rushed

Because he is probably seeing someone else. Let him be for awhile. If he comes back, then it's probably for good.
