They are cookies but I'm not sure how to say it and I need to know so that I can tell my daughters class what kind of cookies they are eating.

I guess the most difficult for you is to reproduce the sound of the double "L". You should figure it even more marked and strong as the double "L" in "alligator". So the whole word's pronounce is : Pàhl-lah de néh-veh
I've marked the accent on where and how to stress: grave on the à and acute on the é.

you pronounce the double Ls in Italian...unlike Spanish (ie. pollo). so... pa-la D nave-ay. "ball of snow"?
