Extremists claim they are doing everything in the name of God. Ok, so why do they only take parts of what they are told and ignore the other half, like the rules FOR taking those actions? What do you think? Who is wrong here? I think they are and should be ratted out by the people around them. I know I would.

"“Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! Allah loves not aggressors.” Al-Qur’an 2:190"

God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your homes. God loves just dealers. (Quran, 60:8)

even still i believe in the christian bible and the son of God being jesus.
i also beleive in the book of mormon.

that does not mean i cannot be a disciple of the koran either!

these words are the RING of truth.

what is true will always be true. what is the doctrine of man? do not false teachers claim their own doctrine to be of God? and therefore they make themselves to be God, or worse yet, do men take their holy book and claim it to be (their god) instead of God?
it comes down to interpretation and translation. what is really the word of God.

There is always another half. What is the difference between an "Al-Qur'an" and a "Quran", and the other narrations cited? Are they commentaries?

There appear to be plenty of Muslims going around who use the Quran to their own purposes. How about ratting out a couple?

Yeah, but this kind of talk will lower the rating for Fox News!

Seriously, there are many thoughtful and terrific Muslims. As well as there are a horrible few that make a poor reputation for all.

This has not been ignored by all. I have tried to explain this to my children, but living near an airforce base *sigh*, I do try though to teach them to keep an open mind. Some christians are just as guilty though.
