how do i ask a girl to be my girlfriend?

ive never asked a girl this before and i would like some pointers.
help please.

It's hard to answer this since I don't know how long you have known her. So I will answer in two parts.

If you have known her for a long time, you hang out alot, you already know her. Then it is eaiser, so long as you haven't turned into her girlfriend. Just so you know, we can tell if your lieing, holding back something, or a number of things, but mostly we can't tell if a guy likes us. So you have to say, just one night get her alone*if you have friends around, or her friends around it seems like you are putting her on the spot. Or worse she might think your makeing fun of her* So get her alone, tell her that you find her interesting, and that you think she is pretty, and that you would like to spend more time with her, and that you want to be her boyfriend.

If you don't know her that well, and you plan to ask her to be your girlfriend. Well, you'll have to get to know her alittle first, and if your still interested, then ask her to be your girlfriend.

Well firstly look at the situation.. do you know this girl, have you talked to her (I meen a proper conversation) If you already are friends, then good. If best friends.. bad, because girls see it as that you'll one day break up which you probally would and theyll say "but if we break up our good friendship will be lost" thats what happened to me when I asked out my best friend elise.. but i guess since then weve been closer although fighting. ok firstly make a conversation if you already havnt in the past and I dont meen when you were in year 2. now simply comment on how she looks (eg. you look stunning today) then ask her if she'd like to go see a movie some time. if she says no, then dont ridicule her or talk about how shes a ***** cuz she doesnt want to go out with you, its probally cuz she just wants to get to know you more but if she laughs in your face shes officially given you permission to hate her, how dare she. anyways I hope everything works out well for you
oh and p.s. if your in the movies and she looks at youthen maybe hold her hand and if everything turns out well on your 2nd date (maybe even your first) you'll be kissing eachother =) good luck

Well there are a whole bunch of ways to ask her. You could ask her straight out, ask a friend to ask her, hint it, or write a note. It mostly about the persons personality because it depends on how you feel about asking someone taht question. So which ever way feel comfortable to you, you should use it.

No macho crap. Just hang out with her as much as possible and if it's going well ask her to do something more "date-like" i.e. a movie or party or something. dude it is much more simple then people make it. if there is one specific girl you really like then take a day or two to feel her out see if she likes you back(will probably take more than 1 day) and if you are up to it then just ask her out in a casual way see if she wants to hang out and then eventually bring up the thought of dating but dont be straight out there that scares off most girls unless the yreally like you then it is likely to shock them and you want get an answer therefore having your heart broken. i know it sounds complex but just be casual it will be so much easier!!!!!!!

hmmm, i'm in a relationship with this girl right now, and she said it was really romantic when i would write her a note on a napkin at lunch(we were on lockdown and couldnt sit next to each other). maybe try that if your too shy to ask her to her face. you should definantly get to know her before that though.

the best advice i can give you is just be your self and dont ask her around a lot of people cause she might feel shy to say something but if she really likes you she would say yes but good luck and just be your self and tell her u like her

I really think you shud add her msn or get her cellphone number and ask her because asking in person is much more awkward and weird!!. Ask her 2 go out!! or meet up with friends!! to ask so you can be less shy!!
