Yes they failed but our case is different.Jesus Christ came to earth so that those who sin and repent shall be salvaged.Cooperating with will can be two way. Will to sin is not acceptable, but will to salvation is acceptable. The ball is in your court. To live right or wrong, but remember Jesus is coming soon to reward you according tour deeds.choice is yours but God's will is for you to repent your sins and be salvaged.Satan is pulling the other way.Resist him and turn to God.

first of all, we ALL failed the test too- What are the salvation sacraments? We all fall short of the glory of God, and Christ died on the cross, to pay the price that we could never pay for our salvation. We can only cooperate with His will, if we are saved

Yes in line with Islam,Adam and Eve failed their test. They did not comlpy to the God's prohibition for coming nearer to the tree.God gives us so many forms of test here on earth.Rich and poor, good work and bad work, having child and no child,
good position and bad position, limited power and unlimited power, sick and healthy, young and old ,happy and unhappy etc as the form of God's testing..But God has given us the latest life guide that is Al Qur'an which contains what we should do and what we should not do.We should comply to those instructions and prohibitions if we want a sagfety life here on earth and in the life after death. As you know Adam and Eve failed their test by satan temptation. So we should strengthen our faith if we want be a winner in a war with satans. We should control our desires. We should thanks God if we have goodness and we should keeppatient if we have badness. We should ask for God's forgiveness if we had mistakes.Everyone will account for his/her own doings in front of God.We should save our selves. All prophets could not help us if we can be easily tempted by satans.

salvation sacrements?? where is that in the Bible?!?
God will, at times, put us in a test He knows we will fail. We will fail because we will use our own strength, not rely on Him.
That is a lesson for all to learn.
Jesus died to give us eternal life and reconciliation with His Father. THAT is the main reason for Christianity.

it is a pretty negative assessment to say they failed. They were given a choice and they made one. God still loved them. God still looked over them and their decendents. They became the parents of mankind.
Why do you people consider that to be a failure!
