My dear one , He will answere you I understand your confusion tho' with so many choices and so many voices.....out there in the world all Vying for our attention... Jesus reveals Himself to us according to how He has made us ..For each of His children
is different we are all not the same our needs are not the same,
and
the way we live our lives are not the same ect...ect...often He will speak to your heart which is louder than any voice...or thru His word, maybe a circumstance or another person but you will have no 'doubt' about it when He does, He knows your heart just be patient ...lol.. I know that is easier said than done...
He wants to communicate with you ...Don't be confused it's always a struggle when that happens , just relax, and He will answere it may not be in the way that you expect or want but He will.....He loves a sincere and seeking heart...
He says in : Matthew 7 : 7- Ask and it shall be given you,
seek, and ye shall find ; knock, and it shall be opened unto you....
Take care ...~ Leah
I know a good book that might help- It's by Dr. Charles Stanley ..titled - ' How to listen to God'......

The Bible has several references to what might be considered as Jesus responding to us. A couple of examples are found in Matthew 7:7 and Luke 11:9. Also Revelation 3:20.
Sometimes what motivates us to call Him makes a difference. Are you simply curious? Do you just want to see if He will answer and nothing more? Or are you convinced that you need his love and help?
He doesn't always respond to everyone the same way so be careful about asking with any preconceived notions of how He should or will. If you're sincere - then cry out in prayer, trust that you will get an answer and then watch carefully for an answer. It is not always something you hear. He first came to me in a dream many years ago. Others I know first heard his voice in their hearts or through someone else. Be patient and trust.

Its a tough thing to go through, realizing that your belief system is based on shifting faith.
I suggest reading about the history of Christianity, and reading about some of the newer findings in the Dead Sea Scrolls written 100 years before Jesus was meant to have existed.
It may help your situation.
I know what you are going through is very tough right now. Its incredibly difficult feeling as if God cares for everyone else but you. Don't let it tear you up too much if possible, just understand that life does have meaning and purpose.
Don't let the 'loving' Christian answers that claim you aren't honest in your approach, or aren't really following Gods word properly get you down. Understand they are just as confused as you, and have to belittle your situation, to prop up their own. Its frustrating and hurtful to hear fellow Christians tell you that you aren't 'truly' seeking God. They are the same people who claim that other Christians are not 'true' Christians, and truly represent the problems with that belief system.

I am also one of Jehovah's Witnesses, but I am not 14 and I'm answering you at just after 9:30. The watchtower contact is very good, the site is well worth a visit.
Jesus really is the son of God, but he is not dead and is not a baby, but is rulling in Heaven with the intention of taking control of earth's affairs in the near future.
Here is the home page web link for Jehovah's Witnesses where you can get further details on this and other questions.

He is true. If you are starting to walk, don't try running up a mountain... yet. Get some rest, don't stay up too late.
First, only start out if you are sincerely looking to find him. Jesus cannot be fooled, he sees right through you. If your thoughts, words and actions display open rebellion, face up to, and address these issues, or forget it.
Second, build short prayers in your own words into your day in several places, but only when you are completely alone and persevere daily, or when you can.
Third, be humble and admit your own failings.
Forth, make some of prayers as worship and thanksgiving, some as prayers for others and some as your own questions and requests.
This sort of thing will help you to get going.
May God bless you in your search for him.
Steven.

well have you taken the time to listen?..........I was in the same boat where I was wondering why God wasn't speaking to me and someone posed my question back to me once and it got me to thinking that I was too busy asking God to speak to me that I wasn't taking the time to listen. God can speak to us many different ways but the main way is through his word, the bible. now there are a couple of things I would recommend about the search of if it's true, relevant etc. etc. and that would be to find an ALPHA course in your area....it has helped me out a lot. I considered myself a christian before I went to the ALPHA course but I just got enlightened so much when I went and got to meet with others who were exploring what christianity was all about too. You get a free supper (it's 1 night a week for 14 weeks) and watch a video presentation and then break into small groups for discussion and it's a safe place to ask whatever you like and the small groups are an open forum. the topics in the course are
Christianity: Boring, Untrue, and Irrelevant?
Who is Jesus?
Why did Jesus Die?
How can I be Sure of My Faith?
Why and How should I read the Bible?
Why and How do I pray?
How does God guide us?
Who is the Holy Spirit?
What Does the Holy Spirit do?
How can I be filled with the Spirit?
How can I resist evil?
Why and how should we tell others?
Does God heal today?
What about the church?
How can I make the most of the rest of my life?
It's a non denominational course designed by Nicky Gumbel of Holy Trinity Bromptom church in London England. He wrote a book too called Questions of Life which takes the course and puts it into text form but taking the course in person is so much beter.
Keep praying but also ask God to speak to you through the bible and then earnestly read it and try and feel what God is trying to tell you through the verses you read. If you haven't done much reading of the bible the gospel of John is a great start as that is the gospel that talks the most about who Jesus is. The old testament is important too but don't start there as it can be very long and drawn out and tireing at times.
now when you read the websites listed above by the Jehovas Witness keep in mind that they are not a christian denomination because they don't hold Jesus to be God. The biblical Jesus is God (look at my answers to questions about the trinity) now to be fair to the above person I want to say that I have nothing against the people of their church because I've met quite a few and they are nice people and they have quite a devotion to their faith in going door to door....I just don't agree with their doctrine as they don't follow the Jesus of the bible and I've read their tract they give out at the door and it doesn't really follow the teachings of the new testament very well

As I understand the question your selected divine presence
won't speak when requested so you've addressed other mortals to assist this process. Pre-Christ Greeks would refer to this proceedure as 'Deus ex Machina'. They would explain that there is a God in the Machine who drops from the sky to save you from yourself. Today we'll call it therapy and leave out God. Be patient. Evolution isn't finished with us yet. Not good enough? Then consider that the best spice is hunger.

Rom 6:4-5
4
We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
5
If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.

It just doesn't work that way. Maybe you are not listening hard enough because God speaks to your heart and it's not a voice you will hear with your ears. Prayers are heard and answered, just not in the way we expect sometimes. I hope this helps you understand alittle better.
