Yes, it's a recurring dream...if you have the same dream night after night, it is trying to direct your attention to an issue you need to work out, if the dream has changed the next night, then the issue still exists, but something in the situation or your attitude towards the situation have changed, or you have acquired new information you didn't have the night before.... if you have a dream one night, then have the same dream, but with a different outcome, it could be a signal that the issue has been resolved....

Yes, I've had several dreams like this. It's actually pretty interesting how it happens. It's your minds way of working things out thoroughly if it was not finished during the first dream.
On an interesting note, the Irish specialized in dreams and had several superstitions regarding them. For example, if you went to a certain place in your dreams repeatedly the area was called your "dream house", or a place that your spirit ventured to after falling asleep. It's neither logical or believable, but it's amusing to think about.

Yes i've had that happen before as well. Kinda freaked me out the first time, then realized it was kinda cool.
I love dreams because they are such a mystery.
I've also woken up in the middle of the night, gone to the bathroom or something and then when going back to sleep, the same dream continued.

I find that when I dream at night, it picks up where it left off the morning I woke up. Sometimes I know that I am most relaxed when I start recalling my dreams in the middle of the day.
