Look, if you don't believe in God, why do you care? Why ask and give us trouble? What have we ever done to you?
Anyway, God is not a false idol. He is the almighty wonder of all things. He created everything, including you.
Your question contradicts itself. If God was a "false idol" then there would not be any sin because nobody would know that worshiping idols is a sin.

I disagree that God is a false idol, and worshipping God is most definitely not a sin. Worship is a supreme act of love and gratitude, given to an awesome and loving God.
I am slightly confused by the contradiction in your question. If you claim that God is a false idol and thus shouldn't be worshipped, then you accept some tenets of the Law that prohibit the worshipping of false idols. That being the case, it is logically impossible to then call God a false idol, since you have accepted the laws that God created. Could you clear this up a bit, please?

Yes.
Well, that is in the form that is usually done. Assuming God is some thing outside of the self and thus needing to be worshiped as an object/person really does miss the point.
Communing with God is another thing. A type of sharing praise and awe. Looks like worship to the uninitiated.

Almighty God is the ONE and ONLY true god of all creation. False idols are figures and statures hewn from stone, bronze, granite, etc. etc. which are made by man.
BIG difference.

There will come a day , the Bible tells us, where "every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord"....that includes YOU.
Best to get with the worshipping NOW, before you are forced to admit you were wrong.

That is so disrespectful. God is real, Jesus is real, and worshiping Him is an honor.
