Is it me, or is Merry Christmas not politically correct?

We are living in the last days before Jesus comes back to earth. There is a great Anti-Christ spirit in the world at this time. This is what Jesus said would happen. The agenda is right on target. The Anti-Christ is coming on the scene. The devil himself. He will imitate all Jesus did and the world will think he is Christ. But the Christian will know differently. Hopefully we will be gone with Jesus before the wicked man comes.
So you can expect every thing Jesus to be taken away.
Who knows where it will end. We might not even get to buy Bibles. The devil hates God and is fighting against all that is of God and God is letting Satan be the God of this world at this time and win whoever he can. So It is important to be wise to the tricks of Satan and all he stands for and fight against all that is evil.
A savior is born, worship him. This is what should be said.

Nobody is saying you should stop saying Merry Christmas. You're just being asked to try to show consideration to others by being more general. Christians are not the only ones celebrating at this time of the year, so it would be nicer to include others.

If you meet a Christian, go ahead and wish them a Merry Christmas. If you meet a Pagan, wish them Happy Yule or Happy winter solstice. If you don't know what the person celebrates, Happy Holidays is general enough to cover them all. The whole idea is to wish all people well, regardless of what they believe or celebrate.

I personally say Happy Holidays, but that's because I'm too lazy to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Plus if someone says they don't celebrate Christmas, I'll just say I didn't wish you a Merry Christmas, I said Happy Holidays I don't care what holidays you apply it to.

Political correctness is a nice way to say, "Bending the facts to fit your agenda."

Other groups can have their holy days and holidays without anybody putting up a fuss: Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, etc. Nobody expects them to say "Happy Winter."

Why is it asking too much that Christians be able to celebrate one of the two most important holidays in their religion -- the other being the Resurrection of our Lord? Nobody's holding a gun to your head, and you can certainly say "Happy Holidays" if that's what floats your boat.

As for me, I think I'll stick with the good old politically incorrect "Merry Christmas."

I'm atheist and I still say merry christmas.....christmas has no religious meaning to me so I think people should just stop getting their panties in a bunch over something so stupid......it's a freaking word nothing more.

Oh for pete's sake, say whatever you want. If someone doesn't like well wishes, regardless of what form the words are in, then they will be offended no matter what you say.

It is not respectful to people who worship Allah, Kwanza, Hanukah or the devil.
