Many schools now have where you can view your award online through the same student account where you register for courses. If you have this option you should log in and check it out. It should sow how much your balance was for the semester and how much financial aid was applied to it and whatever is left is the financial aid refund that you will receive.
If your school does not have this capability you should be able to contact your financial aid office and ask them how much have you been awarded so far (which they may not tell you over the phone due to privacy reasons) and how much you have spent so far and how much is left over.
Hope this helps!

You will get a refund check if your financial aid "award letter" indicates an amount greater than the cost of you attending that school, minus any work study you are awarded (Work study is earned gradually by working).
Compare your award letter and your schools bill.

You should have gotten a letter that told you how much you qualified for. Deduct tuition expenses from that amount and then you will know if you get a refund.

Do you know what you're talking about? What the hell is a financial aid refund check? If you're talking about income refunds, you don't get a refund on Federally protected loans.
