It can't be that they are dazzled by the magic of it, because every religion claims to have their own magic of some sort. (Prayer, healing, personal revelation, etc.)

We're not pushy, all are equal, we accept everyone for who they are, sex is not a shameful thing, and we respect everyone.

Because much of the world still needs spirituality of some sort so they search. They find it on their own. And what they find is that Paganism is much more fulfilling than the nightmare the Abrahamic religions paint. In Paganism there is no hellfire and torture for eternity. In Paganism, there is hope and that hope isn't given by the idea of basking in a gods presence for all eternity.

I could be wrong, but I think paganism is nature-based. And while people are finding fault in organized religion, nature is always true and reliable. We NEED nature; the sun, the moon, wind, rain, earth, trees, etc. We don't need false gods and false promises. People want to believe in something. And paganism provides a replacement religion. Wicca is similarly nature based, I think.

for the guy who thinks being pagan is easy. you couldn't be more wrong. i searched for a religion that didn't spoon feed me, and i found it in paganism. i'm responsible for my own salvation, and i must work at it constantly by continuing to learn. i am pagan because i am curious and i love mother nature, not because it's an excuse to be lazy. lazy pagans get quickly left behind, whether in a coven or as a solitary interacting with others, if you're not learning, you're not interesting to other pagans. paganism allows me to seek the truth wherever i need to seek for it, and requires me to continue seeking.

I am pagan. I reckon its cos theres more out there now days. LIke back when i used to be vegan before i lapsed into vegetarianism there was hardly any yummy vegan food about and no one knew what it was. Now theres loads of fake meat and even cheese and most people know what a vegan is.
Hahaha. wierd analogy. Basically its becoming more mainstream which means more info is accessible for all the people finding their own path or finding their way back to their gods.

Our ancestors, no matter if they were from Europe, Asia, Africa or other were Pagan and Polytheistic/pantheistic. Modern Neopagans are all of this, so it will continue to grow, because this is what resonates with humans at their core. We are naturally Pagan people.

I'm a Wiccan Christian Witch. I joined because I wanted to control my life with my energy, and I felt like magick was just the right thing for me. Pagans mostly hounor nature, and that's also what I do. My God is still Jesus Christ, but I want to use my energy to help the Earth, make life easyer, and also use what nature has to offer me to help with the tough things in life.

At this time in history, information is more widely available and easier to get than ever before. Perhaps because of this people are starting to wake up and ask questions, rather than simply blindly accepting what they've been taught.

It's not growing fast.
It's been here for thousands of years.
we just get to come out and be free with it because christians can't murder us any longer because we do not bow to their fairy tale god.
Paganism was here way before the christian movement.
Now, we get to be pagan and not get burned on a stick for it.
PRAISE GOD! Right?

perhaps everyone is tired of being told what they should believe, and so people are drifting towards less pushy religions. maybe they want to be around a less judgemental group of people. women aren't demonized by most pagan religions the way they are by the bigger religions.

Maybe it's because Pagans feel that each person is able to experience the Divine presence......
