some modernday (last 200 years) and ancient (nostradamous) prophets say that in 2012 the clock's gonna strick midnight for all us on planet earth however theyre all reallllly vague. does that mean (for people that believe in a god of any type) that whoever is upstairs for you is gonna take us all up with him (or her) and leave all the non-believerers behind or does it mean that a massive neuclear war is gonna start and we'll all blow eachother up. they werent all that clear so a lot of their interpretations over the years couldve been miskewed by historians or what have you however if you want you can do some recearch on nostradamous or just google, wikipedia, or Y! search for end of the world prophecies and see what you think. personally i wouldnt sweat over it because all of these vague prophecies had a huge BUT at the end which said, " blah blah blah but, if people are good to eachother than life will go on". so my plan is to just try and be good to others and keep my fingers crossed that that stuf doesnt happen becasuse it would suck if the world blew up right as i got my college degree

In about 5 billion years or so the Sun will run out of fuel. When this happens the core will collapse and the outer layer will be temporarily blown off and it will expand. This expansion will stop somewhere around the orbit of the Earth. Rather or not it engulfs the Earth, it will certainly be the end of the Earth as we know it. Then the Sun will shrink down and cool leaving whatever is left of the Solar System in the dark.

It won't. But the world system will. In another 8 years there won't be fossil fuel anymore so everything that you know it to be now will be changed, if not halted in less than 10 years from now until the government learns to find another source of energy.

But after that, God will continue to allow us to live earthly lives for a time, then he will annihlate Satan, remove the new unfaithful, and will replace the earthly paradise with a literal heaven for all his children to live in commune with the Lord forever (Again accomplished at His beckoning).

i think something horriable will happen like a huge out break of a disease and we all die or a huge world war where we all have to hid and fear for our lives or maybe the world floods or giant roaches take over the world or maybe a hitler copy cat starts sledge hammering everybody in the head untill we are all dead, or maybe the hole world will start on fire and we will all be burned alive , after all this happens peoples faith will be tested and after all the chaos god will take away his people.

Talking about the battle of Armageddon, the bible prophetically says:

Zechariah 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

That's a very vivid description of what we now know as thermonuclear warfare. How Zechariah ever though to describe this is another evidence of divine intervention.
