I am looking for something thin that fits over the screen, probably something customized...anyway, I just need something that fits over my screen and protects it from cat claws!

You really don't need one since the plasma is a GLASS panel....

Claws are softer than glass....

NOW...to remove paw prints.....Go to Radio Shack and buy the MONSTER screen cleaner kit for $20....

That protects the anti-glare coating on it.....

Windex and alcohol cause problems with the coating

If you want an inexpensive cover, go to your lumberyard and have them size up a piece of LEXAN and get some Velcro tape and make your own.....

It costs less than a protective panel from some manufacturer....

2 ideas:

- Look in the yellow pages under "Plastic" and find a place that will custom-cut a glare-free sheet of plastic to cover your plasma. Then use sticky velcro to attach it.

- Get 3 inch masking tape and lay strips of it sticky side up all in front of the TV. Kitty wont like getting sticky stuff on his paws and will learn to stay away.
