hi just went to get a blood test; to see what my thyroid levels are like. I saw on my dr's computer symbols that mean what he was testing me for. One symbol was THS which is for the thryroid but then he tested me for another I think it started with an E/ I'm afraid he could be testing me to see if I've been taking my medication (anti-depressents and thyroid meds); which I havn't, but he thinks that I have:(. Does anyone know where I can find a list of the abreviations for different tests with the correct name for what the dr is testing you for? Thanks:)

It's TSH (thyroid stimulating Hormone) normal range is .5 to 5. If your level is high (above 5.0) then Dr. will have you take Synthroid (synthetic hormone) and retest to bring back into normal range.
