You're born a blank slate apart from having the most basic of natural instincts. These include things like sleep, hunger, numbers one and two, and probably some others.
It is impossible to be born atheist because atheism implies a belief in something. That is, the belief in the absence of god(s). So, if a baby is born a blank slate then there is no way to be even aware of any notion of religion or lack thereof.

I'm amazed that anyone would make such an absurd argument. No one is born with any particular worldview or organized conceptual scheme. These things arise from education and linguistic convention, both of which require experience in the world and interaction with other minds.
We are born with the capacity to learn, but not "knowing" anything at all.

religion is a process of thought. to reference many philosophers, including John Locke (Thomas Jefferson copied him for our govt.) humans are born with out knowledge. therefore when born humans do not know about god when born. If you don't know about god, you cant be part of a particular religion. so you are indeed born atheist

You're right. We didn't know that 2+2=4. Someone had to prove it to us. Since God can't be proven, Atheists have it right.

Atheists have made up their mind that they are atheists.
Babies are born undecided. A neutral position.. (not agnostic)

yes I did; I just didn't know it yet. the knowledge what is true was inside of me and unfolded as I did with personal growth and maturity. education is a big part of that unfoldment.

In Buddhism, your last thought at death is your first thought at rebirth.
So, if you are addicted to crack, you may have a strong, addictive personality (not necessarily to crack, but it could lead to it in years).
The goal of most, if not all religions, is to die clear minded - if you no last thought, then how could you have a first thought?
Thus, breaking the cycle of rebirth (in buddhism)
