it has been observed by me, that a number of atheists say, show me evidence and I will believe.
it does not work that way. I can bring God himself on the platform and the ability of a man to believe is still up to God to give him that chance.
christains (the real ones) and atheists look at the same data. we both have microscopes, and other instruments to examine the natural world around us.
the atheist says, this must be natural and therefore explainable
the christain stands in awe as does the atheist and says, wow God this is amazing and goes to figure it out.
both the atheist and the follower of Jesus believe the same data but have differing points of view about it.
for an atheist to ask for a fossil as proof of god is as absurd as a christain asking for a fossil to prove ancient life.
we both accept the fossil, the interpretation divides our theology.
excellent question

The only fossils I know of that advocate the existence of God are Billy Graham and Pat Robertson.

Snerk.
Incredible. I THINK he meant that we have fossils as proof that there's NO God, but that was a horribly worded question. Confusing!
Of course, his "deeper" proof must be faith. Alas, that is not proof of anything.

That CL Richardson was probably in a hurry to agree with the question and misread it. It's just like how Raz misread this question.
Misread or can't comprehend. I find that common amongst them ilk.
