Romans 3:23 " For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God ". What is a sin ??? ( a bad thought , any disobedience, looking lustfully at a women , swearing , being gay ,not telling the truth etc...) One sin alone must be paid for by man in hell eternally . Unless you hear the word of God and take Gods free salvation plan by admitting that you are a sinner deserving hell , and accepting Jesus as your savior. And Jesus blood will cover your sins. No ifs ands or buts.

Jesus is the one who said how to get to Heaven, not me. It also does not matter what I think, what I think is fair, or what I think it should be. Jesus is the one to say how it would be, and this is what he said:

"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
( John 3:17 - 18 )

If you want to go to Heaven, you want to do what Jesus said. Not by what I say, but what is revealed about what Jesus said.

So what do the verses above mean to you?

No one will enter heaven without Jesus. This is explicitly said throughout God's Word. Think for a second, if we could get to heaven by our own good merits, then why did Jesus have to be crucified for mine and your sins. He did so because without the shedding of blood, there is no remission for sin. This scripture answers your question.............."Not everyone who says Lord, Lord shall enter the Kingdom of heaven, but he that does the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me on that day Lord, Lord...have we not prophecied in thy name? and in thy name cast out devils? Have we not done wondrous works in thy name? And then I will say to them, "I never knew you. Depart from me into outer darkness" ( Matthew 7:21-23 ). Make sure Jesus knows you by a faithful, obedient life. Otherwise, He answered your eternal fate.

Without faith, all is lost. The Bible clearly states that faith is a requirement.

Romans 10:9-10

"that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heat that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with te heart believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

The two requirements are "belief" and "confession". Without either, it's impossible to get to heaven regardless of how many "good deeds" you do.

No man or woman can tell you where you are going to spend eternity, because God is the only just judge.

God is a just judge and He has this to say:
John 3:16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

The only way you don't go to hell is if you are saved which is accepting Christ as your savior, believing he is the son of God, and that he died for our sins.

That is being spiritual and that is precisely the stuff that gets you into heaven, not adherence to a set of religious beliefs.

Being a good person is great and all, but that isn't the way to get to heaven, although it is part, it isn't the first step.

Jesus is the key to heaven.
