This was the girl who said hi to me every day with so much enthusiasm she even smiled and waved when doing it. But now when no other girl was good enough the one I thought liked me has not done anything else to show for it but this-
At the dance she smiled at me and said Hi and waved at the same time and said my name while doing it. Here is how it went when I asked her out
The story starts out by my friend telling her I wanted to talk to her, she said hold a sec. Then she came over to me and stood very close and looked at me dead in the eyes. I said hey do you go out with anyone and she said no. Then I asked her does she want to go out with me and she smiled. She smiled like she was flattered. Then she tapped me on my left arm twice while saying" I'll have to think about that Cameron". I asked her if she wanted my numbeer and she said okay with enthusiasm. I gave it to her and she asked me did I already save it. The dance was December 14, it's the 16th and she ahs not called

Come on......are you seriously waiting for a girl to chase you? How uncool is that? You ASKED her if she wanted your number? Take charge here dude. Tell her YOU would like to take her out and tell her you need HER phone number. You left her in control of the whole situation and now you are on here wondering what happened?
Grab your boot straps and get on the horse. Take control of your own destiny and stop being a wuss bag. I wouldnt have called either--you were entirely too easy. You built no attraction with her.
Sorry to be so blunt about it but its apparent she would wear the pants in the relationship.

She may be scared! Even though girls are enthusiastic, we're often nervous. Try relighting that spark (that is, if you'll see her this week)-- by relighting that spark, I mean, flirt with her some so that she knows why she thought about dating you in the first place. If all else fails, joke around with her like "so when are you going to call me?"-- just don't seem TOO desperate, and only ask for her number if you feel like she's NEVER going to call. Also, she may have a guy. Girls lie about being involved with a relationship (or she could have some problems with an ex)
Give her some time, most of all. Don't smother her or else she'll run away scared.

You have about.. 3 options.
1. Wait.
2. Ask her about it, or ask her to call you, or even ask for HER number.
3. Find another girl. Perhaps she was just being nice, and it's in her personality to act enthusiastic?
OR, she may be shy or too nervous to call. I know I get that way when I call someone for the first time. I would follow all 3 in that order. :)

you should learn how to play poker .. seriously, it will help you with chicks.
you sound very, very young ... chill out dude. relax a little. don't show girls that they are getting under your skin. act like you don't care and they will flock to you. it's called bluffing, an effective poker technique.
be confident and again act like nothing gets to you and this will be very attractive. don't wait by the phone or act like what they do has the slightest effect on you whatsoever.

hey man she might be still making up her mind.. anything could happen have you seen her since then? maybe she'd rather talk to you face to face some people perfer that.
honestly she sounds like the girl who wouldnt leave you hanging like that. hang in there maybe if you dont hear from her in a week or so maybe you should ring her.. she might be waiting for you to ring her.. like i said.. anything can happen
