United Planet Organization - Volunteer in Ecuador?

I am considering volunteering in Ecuador this summer as a teacher's assistent. I just want to make sure before I sign up that United Planet is a good organization because I don't know anyone personally who has volunteered through them before. If you have used them, I would appreciate any information.

Ask United Planet Organization for the testimonials of previous volunteers, or ask them to give your contact information to previous volunteers who would be willing to tell you about their experience. If they are reluctant to do so... might be a red flag.
