I like Jon M's answer, but assuming there is a "here" and "there" in heaven, you cannot be with Jesus without also being with the Father also. This is because, according to the Bible, Jesus is at the Father's right hand!

Acts 2:32-33, "This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear."

Ephesians 1:20, "which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places"

If, therefore, there is a "here" and "there", then the only correct answer is "both"!

Both, and the Holy spirit also. Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father, so I imagine that we'd be with both, falling on our faces in awe.

I would surely spend time with Jesus, asking Him some questions I would love to Have answers for. Then would be my Mother, My Husband, My Son, Brother & sister whom I Love and Miss very much. ( But then we will have all of eternity to enjoy being together.) What a reunion WE Will Have.!

You know, Jesus sits at the right hand of God, so I'd ask to see God since that's where Jesus would be also...and I would bet that I'm not the only one that figured it out.

I would like to spend time with both, of course, but I especially want to ask Jesus what it was like being on earth at that time preaching and teaching.

cut the n into ri (not to scale)
and the name pronounced
/eri is in heaven.
my name is pronounced heaven. Thus i am in Heaven and it feels like hell because i miss too many people in my daily life also an organized crime team hassles me every day. being a halfbreed like Billy Jack of the Movie The Born Losers, guess that makes Me the real life Billy Jack, except the names LArry Todd S.....
so if i stay the course guess a senate appt. needed.

Jesus...and I would ask about his travels and if he ever met a buddist and did he learn anything from them. And then id ask about all the other things that science and religion has fought about for years. Id want to know the truth about a lot of things.

Your questions implies that the concepts of "here" and "there" exist in heaven.

For you to be with somebody, as in next to them, there has to be measurable space, 3 dimensions. But there isn't any "here" or "there" in heaven, so we're all going to be together, including the Holy Trinity. Kinda like we're all intermingling.

I don't think there is actual spacial quantities in heaven.
