im just curious to see if guys are as shallow as i think or if i underestimate them.

Well I'll admit I'm not the average teenage guy (I tend to think with my head, not other parts of my body) but when I see a girl I'm attracted to the first thing I noticed was mostly the way she presents herself. Not as in wearing short skirts or low cut shirts, but if it looks like she actually cares about her appearence (IE she at least attempted to use a brush that morning, even if it didn't go too well). This includes both how she dresses and if she has a bright cheery look or an "I'm emo" expression.

well, the first thing I notice is their face, this is general you know I am not going to base my whole liking just on the face but I do like a girl that has the pretty eyes and smiles, secondly I will acknowledge her attitude, I do not like girls that act like they know it all or very aggresively the girl I like has to be calm, funny and more or less somewhat like me. Apparently I unconsciously acknowledge the hips even though I dont know it most people tell me that they girls I find attractive usually have a large rear or nice curviness but I do not focus just on the physical aspect of the girl. Hair color affects a little short or long it doesn't matter it just depends how well it matches the girl, welll I hope it helps I wish I knew what girls looked for in boys... hey why doesn't someone tell me :)

Um, you're asking what physical features we like to judge whether or not to consider us shallow? There’s definitely a problem with the premise of your question.
To answer your question:
Long black hair
Nice eyes and facial symmetry
A nice smile (probably one of the most important things)
Short skirts help, ha-ha
EDIT: I have to change my answer. I posted the things that make me NOTICE a girl. The things that make me like her are her personality, smile, and intellect. A lovely wit is also essential.

Laughing...laughing eyes that sparkle. A girl that catches my eyes is confident and dresses sharp as tack. A girl that I can sense takes care of herself as much as she would care for another person. I can't speak for all guys but I have intuition.
I really dislike vanity. I like eye contact and a flirty look. It's enough to make my day and hopefully likewise. It really comes down to the entire girl--not just one feature but the aura she emotes. Grace, beauty, femininity, intelligence and wit.

Well everyone likes different things, I'll see someone and go, wow, she's gorgeous! but then my friend completely disagrees. When I look at a girl, I really notice the eyes and hair, I dont know why but that's where I look first.

Most people are shallow most of the time. Physically, I go for the eyes. But personality is much more important; intelligence, love of life, spirit...The way she talks and behaves.

Your question is contradicting. You want our opinions on what we like about a girl when we SEE her, and you say you don't want us to be shallow? I can't tell if a girl is beautiful on the inside with my eyes. Her smile, eyes, and facial expressions is what catches my eye.

what do you want to hear? Attraction is a very complex, constantly changing thing that varies from guy to guy(or girl to girl) funny question though.(i guess some girls ARE as shallow as I thought)

pretty face, cute smile, nice laugh, or in the first few minutes if she seems to have a good sense of humor. of course after i get to know her i look for a LOT more than that. but in the first 5 minutes that what i look for. nice body doesnt hurt either lol.

Um, of course for her to attract me, she has to be pretty and then, I'd like a nice figure and her attire has to be neat and not sloppy of course. I would like for her to wear skirts and stuff like that every now and then. Then her personality has to reel me in.
