Ultra high performance Bridgstone RE-010R tires! I have 4 on my GTO stock size almost $940 a set from tire rack I mounted and balanced myself They are real road magnets.

I don't think there is a simple answer to this one, all of these companies make different tires for different uses and price ranges. You could take a look at something like tread-wear rating, some street tires have low ratings (under 100) these are probably a nice sticky high performance tire, while something with a high number (200-400) is made to last longer but will give less grip. so it really depends on what you're going for. Keep in mind the low rated ones may only last for 10,000 miles or so.

So far the favorite set of tires I had on my '05 350z were the BF Goodrich KDW-2's I purchased from TireRack.com. The KDW stands for Killer Wet/Dry, describing the type of performance this tire was aiming for.

The tires had excellent wet/dry traction, decent durability for a high-performance street tire (I got around 25k miles out of them), but were a little bit on the noisy side. However, I ran them on the street as a daily driver, at the drag strip, and on road courses (race tracks) and they took a lot of abuse and were worth every penny I paid for them.

r u gonna put it on a 1982 sh!tbox honda

it wont matter-

But the two best tires that i ever had were toyo's and goodyears

the goodyears were the softest - 13k miles

the toyos pop'd all the time but with town fair they warranty them so it cost me squadush
