Ok so I have had this anxiety problem while looking for a job, but now that I have it and I'm a little used to it, I feel WORSE. And not only that but having the job arose other mixed feelings as to what I should do with my life and I feel like I will not get very far.

I think its because the job position is full time and they were hellbent on making sure I was not going to college cuse they want me there for as long as possible, but them bringing it up made me want to, my GPA is real low and I'm out of highschool, I also don't think I can handle a full time job and then go to, (let alone pay for) college, plus trying to find my own place with my BF, whos situation is worse. We don't have a licenes to drive >_<;

Uhg see I'm rambling, can somenone please help my confusion. I don't like being sad and wanting to cry every min. :(

Take a breath. Focus on your job. Stabilize your living arrangements: you need a roof over your head, clothes on your back, and food in your stomach. Make sure your bills are paid on time. Make saving money a priority.

If your boyfriend's circumstances prevent you from achieving any of the aforementioned goals then I would tell you to find a place on your own. You need to be able to take care of yourself before you can start worrying about someone else.

Once you have saved enough money that you could quit your job and still pay all your bills on a timely basis for a six month period then you can start thinking of going to college etc.

A contributing factor to your depression/anxiety may simply be what you are eating and the amount of exercise you are getting. Highly refined foods such as sugar and white bread can make you feel depressed. Try switching to whole grain foods. I would also suggest that you go for a walk each day to get some exercise.

Hope this helps.

If you want to go to college, go to college. Don't let any company stop you. You should be able to apply for FAFSA assistance if you don't have any money. It will be better for you in the long run to have a degree.

If you want to work, then don't say anything about college. Just apply for a new job and say you aren't going to college.

Either way, I suggest you talk to your parents or a school counselor to help you sort out your feelings. This type of youth anxiety is normal and there's nothing to cry about. It happens to everyone at some point or another.

How about taking a course or two at a technical school? You can learn a skill and it doesn't cost so much and it will really make you feel better about yourself! Most of these schools will even help you find a job afterwards, too!

Count your blessings - you're young and able to help yourself! Chin up now and get busy living!

I have a shot at the job of my dreams and my anxiety level is at an all time high. I don't meet all of the qualifications but my hope to be boss is willing to go to bat for me because she really thinks I would be best for the job. So now I'm stressing. My GF says I need sex to calm my nerves and actually that sounds pretty good. Sounds like we're in the same boat. So welcome to my world and welcome to life. Remember it could be worse. How cliche...sorry :)
