No.
You are saved by the Grace of God. Not through your works.
You couldn't possibly keep the 10 commandments.
That doesn't mean as a Christian that its your goal to break them. Sinning is still just as wrong as it ever was.
If you've accepted Jesus... you Love God. If you Love God.. you will try with all your strength to keep his commandments. They are written with your best interest at heart.
God Bless You.

The original 10 commandments were given by God to Moses on Mt. Sinai. All of these were to be kept by the people at that time. When Jesus came on the scene, we were given a new set of rules to follow. 9 of the 10 commandments were carried over to the new testament. The only one that wasn't was the Sabbath Day which was a Saturday. This one commandment was given to the Jews only because God brought them out of Egypt and he commanded them to keep the Sabbath as a reminder to them that He did that. This commandment is not binding on anyone today because we were not the ones brought out of Egypt. It is never ok to sin but since none of us are perfect, we need the blood of Christ to cleanse us from sin.

Wow. You try to prove something through an accusation.
So tell me, seeing as you make this claim that if one doesn't keep the ten commandments, they would be going about sinning.
You must mean therefore that if you discovered you didn't have to keep the ten commandments, you would go about committing sin. You would go about murdering people, and all sorts of things, because there were no law telling you not to.
And why do you ignore what the new testament says regarding sins?
Have you not read, whatever is not of faith is sin?
Have you not read, the law is not of faith?
So if you insist on living by the law, you sin, for you have abandoned faith.

You have to keep all of God's moral laws but not as a means to salvation.
Romans 13:8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. 9 The commandments, "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself." 10 Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
The laws that no longer need to be kept are sacrificial and ceremonial laws that were types and shadows of the Messiah to come. Jesus said...
Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
Colossians 2:13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14 having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. 16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.
Hebrews 10:11 Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. 13 Since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool, 14 because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says: 16 "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds." 17 Then he adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more." 18 And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin.

The apostle Paul taught that we are not to use our salvation as a license to sin. We should put on the new man and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. But we do still sin. That sin hinders our fellowship with God but does not end our relationship. If you can sin and not feel badly about it then I would wonder whether or not you really were saved. If your sin tears at your heart, that is the Holy Spirit leading you to repent so your fellowship can be restored.

Jesus said : Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
All the 10 commandments in Ex 20. we are to keep.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

What is resting in Jesus? If you have accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, and He is Lord of your life, and you love Him more than anyone else and you are living your life for Him, the 10 Commandments won't be the issue. We as Christians are going to stumble during our walk with God. But we don't live life tryng to find loop holes so we can sin. If we do however, the grace of God is there to pick us up, dust us off and get us back in the game of life. Praise be to God!!

The forgiveness that is in Jesus Christ is conditional upon "repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ" (Acts 20:21). It is a gift that God offers to everyone, but individuals must receive it by repenting and trusting in Christ, or they will remain dead in their sins. No one has biblical grounds to continue in sin, assuming that they are safe just because Jesus died on the cross. See 1 John 3:4–6.
