how much do you tip them?

Anything below $2 is basically telling the driver that you are a selfish piece of ****, and it will guarentee that you will ALWAYS be last on his route of deliveries. $3 is considered a decent tip, but if you give the driver over $4 they will always remember you, and will make you first on their route, and try to get your food to you as fast as possible. You need to realize they usually make minnimum wage or less, yet still put miliage on their vehicles along with all the gas and maint. that comes with it. Drivers work for tips, therefore when you stiff them it basically means they had to pay to deliver you your food. The delivery charge doesn't always go to the driver, it usually goes to the company to pay the hourly pay. If you have the money to order pizza, you have the money to tip a few bucks.

Wow, I can't believe how horrible all of you tip. I used to work at a pizza place, I wasn't a driver but I was friends with all of them. They would get completely shafted, sounds like it was from a lot of you.

I usually tip $5 of $6. If the weather is bad, more because they have to drive in it. Or if I live pretty far from the place, I'll tip more. A lot of pizza places don't pay hourly, and hardly pay for the drivers gas, so they rely on their tips. I like to give them more than they should get, because they do go to places and get 50 cents or a dollar, which would really suck.

About 15% of the total (what I do is double the tax because tax in about 8%, so if you double the tax you're giving the person about 16%). Since it's the holidays tip extra!

well when i order pizza for delivery (which i never do anymore), i the total was usually around 10 bucks and i'd give them a couple of dollars. but if someone were to order like 10 pizzas for a party, they really need to give like a 10 dollar tip or something

A dollar is normally considered "civil." $3 is a good tip. $5 is a really good tip. Bad weather ups everything by one or two dollars. Truth be told, most people don't tip so anything is appreciated.

Add all these to account...

Your area's gas prices.....High

The weather,such as rain,snow,etc
If the person is nice

never go below 5 dollars.

Depending on weather, & your mood, I'd say 25 to 50 % of the total.
