I know that I believe that Christ is the son of God, and that he helps people in their daily lives, and will one day accept those who believe in him into Heaven, however....
I believe that I have lost my faith (long stories as to why). I find myself doubting whether or not he will help me in my daily life, and I find myself trying to do everything on my own. My husband tries to help, but idk if it's working..
How do you think I can try to regain my faith. I want to be a faithful Christian, which idk if that's what I am now...
Help!

Just pray and ask the Lord for guidance. Just tell the Lord exactly what you just told me. As crazy as that sounds, it will help you! Let your husband help you. That's his job! Lean on him AND God. Start reading a bit of the gospels each day. That will help. They are just basic information. Also, if you can figure out when you started feeling this way,. You may figure out what caused it. That way through prayer, Bible Study, and talking to your husband you can undo it. Don't give up! That's what the devil wants! He's an idiot! God Bless!

Ever see the card or heard the storyof the footprints in the sand? It says that there were 2 sets of foot prints on the beach and the person sees that this is the time of their life when things were going good. Then there is only one set of footprints and the person realizes that this is when lifewasthe toughest. The person asks God a question," Lord, when my life was good you were standing with me and walking with me,when things got tough you left me, why? " God replies," I did not leave you my child, that is when I carried you" This seems like one of those times. Try and take time to pray and reflect. Try not to sweat the small things. Put yourself in his hands and I find that in the end things work themselves out.I too have had the same thoughts at different times in my life and I try to get back to basics.

Christ is not a hand that will reach down from the sky and do it for you. He teaches a way to do it that you must accept in your heart and mind. Christ is all about love, do at least that much and he will stand with you as you work your way through life. I am not Christian, but I do accept the basic teaching of Christ, and like the Divinity that I accept, I follow a path of love, caring, and respect. I am the happiest person.

I read that many followers of Christ did not have it easy many were murder in a cruel death for their faith.
Jesus said to take up your cross "daily" and follow me.
bearing a cross is not easy, because of the fall of man we handed the "perfect" world away to satan and his devices.
But some day we will live in that perfect city without the problems of the present.
and faith is believing no matter the circumstances, like it says in the Bible" my God CAN deliver me, BUT if not I will still believe"

Ask God to help you and go and do what you need to do. Many have this problem, like Mother Theresa, so you are not alone or in bad company. God will always help. Say a prayer and go about doing what has to be done. Trust that God will not give you more problems than you can deal with. Peace, God Bless and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Everybody gets their faith tested at some point in their life. Don't despair, don't doubt yourself, and by all means, don't down the Lord. If he wasn't with you, you wouldn't have a "daily life". Hang in there, better times are coming. Keep focused on what you believe and the Lord will guide you through. God Bless you.

I went though this several years ago. I studied on my own, what I wanted to and when. I sought out people who would not preach but listen and talk to me. It took about six years for me to decide who, where, what, how. when. I consider myself a much better Child of God now.
Allow yourself to be you. Step back, take a look - take one step, then another, another, etc. Be open and you will find the place you are to be.

I would suggest a good church where the feeling is one of family and with a good study group. If that's not where you're called - perhaps be an agnostic for a bit and keep searching?

Christ never leaves you. When you wake up, ask Him to be with you throughout the day. Ask and BELIEVE that He will be there.
Pick up a book called "God's Promises to Women." I just bought it for my mother. She's having a crisis of faith as well.
God bless and remember that you are NEVER alone.

90% of Christian doctrine came from the ancient Egyptian religions. There is not one original thing in Christianity, not a single thing. So it's no wonder that something deep inside is telling you that it's mythology. Religions come and go because they're all mythology. What's the use of faith? Why does your god need you to have faith, what's the point?
