You develop a thicker skin and hopefully learn a little more about yourself. You didn't state what the rejections center around. Is this about relationships or work? If it is about relationships, maybe you aren't comfortable enough with who you are and what you are looking for to make the right choices when you are asking others for a date. While it's nice to like someone enough to think you want to ask them out, they may not be the right person for you. Like anything else in life, you have to live within your means. Take some time to find out more about who you are, where you are going, and who you think would best go with you before you just jump in there. Know why you are going there before you do otherwise be prepared for rejections.

Rejection is a part of life. It is somethoing one must learn to accept. There is no escape from it. But do consider that everything happens for the best and the truest words in any language are "and this too shall pass" Ask any sales person about cold calling sales and rejection. You can help yourself by analysing yourself when you are rejected (ie) was it your way of speaking, understanding , listening. . Who was rejeccting you, the circumstances surrounding the rejection. Also rejection is not always your fault. The rejector may have had a bad day unknown to you. Cheer up///

Well, it depends on what kind of rejection you are talking about. Are you talking romantic rejection? Social situations rejection? Book publishing rejections?
Romantic rejections, well, first you have to have enough security in your self-image to realize that it's usually THEIR problem and loss, not yours.
Social situations? Don't know much about this, but if you get rejected by groups of people, the same applies and even more so--it is their problem and their loss, not yours.
Book publishing rejections? NEVER GIVE UP. EDITORS CHANGE, COMPANIES CHANGE, AND YOU MAY JUST BE AHEAD OF YOUR TIME! EVEN STEPHEN KING GOT REJECTIONS UNTIL SOMEONE TOOK A CHANCE ON 'CARRIE'.
But what kind of rejections are you talking about? Be more specific please!

Hi Juiicy,
That's always one oh so bitter pill to swallow. By asking this question, it shows you're aware that your first reaction might not be your best reaction. All I can say is keep your chin up and take the high road at all times. It's hard to do, but in the long run, you'll regain your peace. Hope this helps. Take care.

Keep trying!!!! The worst thing you can do is isolate. It's tempting to isolate because then you can't get hurt. I did that for years and years, didn't go to college because of it and I regret it all so much! I was bullied all through jr high and high school and never had any friends. I became invisible by choice. I wish so much that I would have done things differently.

With the backing of your friends and family.
And maybe take a break and try to figure out why you are being rejected.

More than one from the same person? Move on...sorry. More than one in general? Never stop trying, just don't be creepy.
