A lady asked me to shovel her snow. I spent a good fifty minutes on it working hard. She said that she'll call me tomorrow and we will decide the price.

what is a reasonable price to charge for the service.

thanks for any advice

I think it would be best for $15 for 50 minutes. You probably deserve that. It would be best on how much it took you to do it and how big it is. Perhaps you should charge for 10 dollars per hour or half and hour. It's reasonable and isn't too expensive or cheap. Also, if the price is right, you can get more customers!

I used to charge $10 - $15 dollars to shovel driveways. Since it took you an hour, do not be afraid to charge $15. Half an hour, $10 is good. The trick is to always do it fast, and try to find other houses to do. I would put in a good 7 hours and walk away with over $100

I agree with Yawzer. Shoveling can be tough work. I would pay up to $15 per hour if I had someone shovel for me.
