Every day is the Lord's day, every day is set aside to serve and worship Him. the principle of having 1 day in 7 for rest is, however, an excellent idea.

You keep referring to the sabbath as something God commanded you to keep.
You cite Isaiah 58 and interpret this as God talking to you? God was talking to Israel -- the people who were under that covenant law. You were never under that covenant law, and that covenant law ended upon the death of Christ who was the God of the old covenant. What happens when either party to a covenant dies? The covenant ends, just like a marriage covenant as explained by Paul in Romans 7.
So why do you insist on resurrecting people back to a dead "mate"?
Don't you know the sabbath is a shadow of Christ? Don't you realize a shadow has no substance? You might as well be practicing sacrifices.

Because Jesus rose on Sunday. Psalm 118 is one of the usual readings for Easter:
22 The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone.
23 This is the Lord's doing;
it is marvelous in our eyes.
24 This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Sunday can be seen as the eight day, meaning a new creation.

Sunday is the Lord's day because it is the day we found him conquering sin and death in the resurrection.
In Christianity Lord is exclusively the title of Jesus. In non Christian religions Lord is prescribed to God or any god. In Christianity there is a difference between the Sabbath and the Lord's Day.

"The Lord's day" is the final day of God's wrath detailed in Revelation. As for the Sabbath, the scriptures could not be any clearer on the subject...
Let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. - Col. 2:16
The Sabbath is a covenant between God and the Jewish people. If you carefully study the prophetic significance of the feasts, you will find that the gentiles were prophesied to worship on Sunday according to the feast of Pentecost.
The disciples met on Sunday in commemoration of the Lord's resurrection. It is also the inaugural day of the church since Pentecost took place on the day after Sabbath (ie Sunday). This is also in fulfillment of the prophecy of Pentecost being geared for the gentile church seeing that it is the only feast to use leavened bread.
Leviticus 23:15-17
And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the LORD. You shall bring from your dwellings two wave loaves of two-tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven. They are the firstfruits to the LORD.
The Sabbath day was "the rest" that came through Christ. I ceased working for my salvation when I accepted Him as Lord and Savior.
Hebrews 4:10
For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
So if you are not "resting in Jesus" I can understand your need to try and work for your salvation through the keeping of the law.
Romans 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

They don't want to be like the Jews. If you are going to hijack a religion, you have to change a few things.
