"God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. That who ever believes on Him should not perish after death, but have everlasting life."
This is absolute truth because the One that proclaimed it was prophesied to come hundreds of years before with over 300, detailed scriptures. Only One from the eternal could have such proof and evidence provided.

On my own personal letterhead, I have 5 sayings. These are 3 of them:
“A WISE PERSON WILL HEAR AND WILL INCREASE LEARNING; A PERSON OF UNDERSTANDING
SHALL ATTAIN UNTO WISE COUNSELS.” PROVERBS 1:5
THE LORD SAYS, “THE PERSON WHO SEWETH SPARINGLY SHALL REAP ALSO SPARINGLY;
AND THE PERSON WHO SEWETH BOUNTIFULLY SHALL REAP ALSO BOUNTIFULLY.” II CORINTHIANS 9:6
“IF YE HAVE FAITH AS A GRAIN OF MUSTARD SEED . . . NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE UNTO YOU!” MATTHEW 17:20
To answer your other Qs in the order you asked:
do you adhere to any major religion, and why? Yes, I do, because that is the way I was raised. HOWEVER, I'm open to suggestions.
do you have a relationship with a greater being? All the time. The Good and Great Lord helps me every day.
I AM "a survivor". How much more extreme - but not narrow-minded - should I be or get?
Thanks for asking!
VTY,
Ron

I do not believe in a higher power, but believe in treating people with as much kindness and respect as I can. I too believe in treating others as I want to be treated.
I think most war and hostilities in this world would be eliminated if there had never been any organized religion. People choose to hate based on what their religion tells them.

To hold the Noble Virtues as sacred in our lives and as guidelines in how to live our lives and conduct our behavior: Freedom, Tolerance, Courage, Self Rule, Moderation, Steadfastness, Generosity, Truth, Hospitality, Justice, Family Responsibility/ Community, Honor, Industriousness, Strength, Troth/ Loyalty, Self Reliance, Wisdom
I believe my gods want me to live an honorable life and strive for that. Do my actions harm someone - then its wrong. Do my actions bring honor to me and mine - its right. Is someone harming me and mine - take 'em down (call the cops, use self defense, get them out of office, whatever).

As a Wiccan, I choose to abide by the Wiccan Rede: "If you harm none, do what you will." This does not say that we can do no harm -- that would be impossible. What it implies is that all actions that lead to a minimization of harm overall are acceptable actions.
I honor the Goddess and the God and seek to attune myself to Their energies as manifest in the natural world, but I do not "serve" Them, nor are They keeping a checklist of my positive and negative actions. I believe that They prefer me on my feet rather than on my knees, and accordingly I try to conduct myself as a responsible adult human being.
I also believe that all religions are expressions of humanity's search for the Divine, and therefore that all religions are correct to their adherents. Nor is it my place to try to coax others to abandon their path in favor of my own. A person's spiritual beliefs are a matter between themselves and the Divine, and it is not appropriate for me to interfere.

I am not part of any major religion. I believe in focusing on making this world a better place by contributing positively to addressing the serious problems of this world. Problems like poverty, injustice, and abuse of all forms. I believe in reincarnation of the continuous form, because it keeps one in this reality of this universe. We should focus on handling the struggle of life and helping others to handle it also. I have a God that is the universal spirit that holds the universe together as one to a workable degree, and individual spirits together as one to varying degrees. A God that repesents harmony, morality, and creativity. One that guides and inspires people.

I don't identify with a specific group, because I honestly don't know what is out there. I have ideas, but will never know for sure.
I believe in being a good person. I believe that everyone who is a generally good person will go to heaven. Yes, gays, atheists, buddhists, jews, chrisitians, agnostics, etc.
ALL OF THEM GO TO HEAVEN (as long as they are generally a nice person).
