i've been getting these really sharp pains in my chest for about two weeks now. its not always in the same spot. sometimes it feels like its in my heart then in the totally wrong spot and its all over the place. it feels like someone's stabbing me and it lasts about 5-10 seconds. it brings me to tears every time and has been happening more and more frequently. atleast 6 or 7 times a day now. i'm getting worried and i havent found time to go to the doctor yet. what is it? i dont drink or smoke. i'm perfectly healthly... or atleast i thought i was

..I think you should go to a Dr. straight away as this could be very serious. I don't tell people this often but my son had chest pains when he was 12 and Dr. told me he was fine...Young people don't get chest pain....Well I found him in his room..he had died in his sleep and had only made it to 16...he had a heart defect that was never found... . Don't play around with this......PLEASE...I don't care if anyone votes for this but Please listen to me...

I agree that you should see a dr. Hopefully it will be something simple. I was having chest pains and was lucky, it turned out to be brusitis (sp?). The tendons in my shoulder were swelling and pulling in my chest. Also my left arm hurt and would go numb. Really scary.

MAKE the time to go to the doctor. Forget about work, school or whatever....just GO! Be safe, not sorry. Chest pains are nothing to mess around with.

Theses could be angina pains from the heart. There is something going on and it's telling you to be careful.

Without knowing your age, your health history or your activity history, I can only say "go to an ER and tell them your problems: let them take it from there.

I wouldn't Wait to long.

Do you have a rich acidic diet, could be Heyerdahl hernia.......need to see an internist. But I would get to a real doctor yesterday........
