Gift certificate to one of the big hunting stores like Cabela's or your local one. Otherwise, you'd have to know a lot more about their hunting habits and what they already have...

How much money are you willing to spend because hunting gifts can get a lil' pricy. But gift certificates to Cabelas or Bass Pro Shop is always a good bet.

I know lots of people think a gift card or gift certificate is impersonal, and all, but it is a very practical gift. Get him one from Cabela's, Bass Pro Shops, Academy Sports, ***** Sporting Goods, or something like that. That way he can get whatever specific item he wants.

A range finder would be great . This is like a scope that tells u distance. It is a great thing to have if yo dear hunt.
