It is unclear to which bible passage the questioner refers.

The apostle Paul described a remarkable provision of the holy spirit whereby a Christian might be unable to put his ideas into words, particularly when he feels overwhelmed.
...(Romans 8:26) In like manner the spirit also joins in with help for our weakness; for the problem of what we should pray for as we need to we do not know, but the spirit itself pleads for us with groanings unuttered.

It seems obvious that when "the spirit itself pleads for us" that the individual would be comforted even when he could not enunciate his need for comfort.

I think praying in the Spirit is associated with speaking in tongues. I'm not sure about that though. I do know that you can pray in the name of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is the same as Jesus Christ.

When you do pray, if you are asking for something you need to believe your going to get it or else the prayer won't work. You can just talk to God like you're talking to a friend. He will listen to you. He loves you.

That is a very interesting question.

The Holy Spirit is God and there is a verse in the Psalms.... "Be still and know that I am God."

So that appears to be your Biblical answer. If you are still and yet awake and aware, you are under the influence of the light of God.

Very few people think to ask this question, but it is an important one. The latter chapters of this resource goes into a great more detail on "worship in Spirit"

You will know when you are in the Spirit while in prayer. It is a feeling like nothing you have ever experienced. The whole world may be falling down around you but you will not notice and that is what it is like to taken away in the Spirit.
