Whenever I sleep at night on my left side, my ear gets very painful. So much so that if I turn over, it takes about ten minutes to get to sleep because of the lingering pain. I used to get the same pain in my right ear, but not anymore. Anyone know what causes this?

This could be related to an inner ear infection or virus. The only way to know for sure what is going on is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be causing this.

Try putting cotton into both your ears 24 x 7 for several months and see the result. It has been proved in Britain by some one (I forgot his name) who did research and found out that putting cotton into the ears helps to reduce pains of various kinds and reduces inflammation and improves immunity in the body which enables the body to fight infections. Simple harmless procedure with many benefits which every one who suffers from any pain in the body should follow. The researcher said that the pressure of cotton on the nerves in the ear canal results in this beneficial effect.
