People say Santa is just a cruel lie to children, others say he is a tool for corporate propanda. Some say he symbolises materlialism and greed.
Me? I think he represents the kind nature of human beings. I think Santa is a wonderful concept and it's a shame such a man doesn't exist.
I do not believe Santa exists physically, but I believe that he does exist in all our hearts. Because though the man does not exist, the things he represents do.
This year, I will give selflessly to my loved ones, and in that way, I will help keep Santa alive. What will you do? Do you believe in Santa Claus?

Yes, I believe in the spirit of secret gift-giving, a well known trait of St. Nicholas, the Catholic Bishop of Myra in the 3rd century. It is in the memory of such fun and true spirit that we include Santa Claus into our Christmas.
For those who have children, we know what fun it is to let Santa be the one to give them certain toys ... usually the one they wanted most. Even those who don't have kids can know what a thrill it can be to give a gift when the recipient has no knowledge who gave it to them, it's just signed "from Santa".

I believe in Santa Claus! I don't care what other people think about this season, I love it- best time of the year for me. Santa's always been a part of that and for me, he will continue to be so and I'll pass the magic of him on to my children. Here here for Santa Claus!

When I was young I believed in Santa Claus,
Then as I grew up and had kids of my own I was Santa Claus,
After my kids were grown I looked like Santa Claus, beard and all, and my son was Santa Claus.
Now my grandson is Santa Claus.

I believed in Santa when i was young, but i don't believe he's in our hearts. Santa was at one point a story made up extrapolating from the story of Saint Nickolas, but now Santa is just the world's view of Christmas. Santa is in a sense replacing Christ's place in Christmas. I think the world would be just as happy to change the name from Christmas to Santamas.

Yes, the Santa you describe does exist. Wherever there is need and kind generous loving people he will continue to exist.
