All true Christians have the Holy Spirit, so whenever they pray, or do anything they are doing so in the Spirit right?

It is unclear to which bible passage the questioner refers.
The apostle Paul described a remarkable provision of the holy spirit whereby a Christian might be unable to put his ideas into words, particularly when he feels overwhelmed.
...(Romans 8:26) In like manner the spirit also joins in with help for our weakness; for the problem of what we should pray for as we need to we do not know, but the spirit itself pleads for us with groanings unuttered.
It seems obvious that when "the spirit itself pleads for us" that the individual would be comforted even when he could not enunciate his need for comfort.

A Christian can be praying from pure emotion and not praying "in the Spirit". Praying in the Spirit means that your mind is attuned to the leading of the Holy Spirit as you pray.
John Gill puts it this way in his commentary on Ephesians 6:18
..it is put up with a true heart, and a right spirit, and without hypocrisy; in a spiritual way, and with fervency, and under the influence, and by the assistance of the Spirit of God.

You could be praying in tongues but not be in the Spirit. You must give your all to god when praying to be in the spirit.

The Bible says that when you pray in tongues (pray in the Spirit) your spirit prayes. You don't understand what you are saying (for the most part) but God knows. When you pray regularly you know what you are saying.

Only YHWH's children have the Holy Spirit .
And, only YHWH's children can walk in the Spirit.

when someone prey by heart 100% that is praying in the spirit.when some one pray to show others that look he is praying ,that is regular prayer.never come fromm the depth of one,s heart.
