First purina is bad dog food switch to something like eukanuba or science diet or candiea and feet him PUPPY food even if hes not a puppy it has more calories.

Edit: I just wanted to add the person above me that said eukanuba is bad well its not my vet said its great dog food and i have been feeding it to my dogs they are all healthy my last dog (lab/pit mix) lived till he was 17 years and thats all he ate:). just stay away from purina

Science Diet has a high calorie presription dog food that your vet can prescribe for you to help your dog gain weight. Our vet perscribed it for us when our bully mix puppy that we got from the pound had Parvo. I'd call your vet and ask him about and also ask him what kind of food he reccommends, I agree that the puppy chow stuff is junk. Good luck!

If you are feeding a good quality diet, it will happen. Time is what it will take and you cannot force it!!!

Switch to a food with LESS or NO corn. Part of what you are feeding is corn. There is a LOT of that in Puppy Chow. They cannot digest corn and therefore poop it out. Less of it is usable.
And as a puppy he should be thin. Fat puppies lead to orthopedic issues.

first, switch to a better quality food. i give mine solid gold, it costs more but is worth the money. i have a mastiff who was not at a good weight no matter what we offered her as far as kibble. the vet suggested cottage cheese {lowfat} mixed with kibble and adding a little cheese. it worked because she went from 123 lbs. to 138. always check with your vet if he does not gain in a couple weeks, there could be something wrong other than worms.

He's not gaining weight because his food is crap. Try switching over to canidae, Wellness,Blue Buffalo,or Timberwolf. Stay away from Purina, IAMS, Eukenuba, Beneful, Kibbles n Bits, and Pedigree.

The food you are feeding him is crap. Put him on a better food and he will gradually gain the weight back
