Anyway, to the poster that said SUVs down there (intimating that SUVs are responsible for global warming), I didn't realize Kerry, Edwards, etc., with their private jets, huge homes eating electricty and gas, and their many SUVs were down there. Amazing the things I learn on here. Now I'll know which way to vote in '08!
I agree with the cyclical thing...oh, and someone please send me some of that global warming before I freeze to death.

To go down this road, one would have to completely ignore what's going on on the surface of the planet. Too many people causing too much pollution and no one DOING anything about it except trying to figure out a politically correct and justifiable means to their actions. Maybe if we don't take care of the surface, someone will do so from the Netherworld. makes ya think!!

No. Global warming is caused by the release of greenhouse gases as humans burn fossil fuels.
I hope you're not serious. Global warming will become a real threat to humaninty in decades to come, and a scientific understanding is essential to mitigating that danger.

Metaphorically it is.
By so many people being self centered and not thinking of what the difference things we did would cause in the future. Not thinking of all others, including the whole world, as we should.

no....... this has happened before...... global warming.... it happened to the point the world lost its ice caps... flooded the world... world lost land mass in which to absorb and retain heat...and the world froze over...what that hell then?
and i would have to say that satan....would at least make some volcanoes erupt.... global warming as hell enlarging?.... kinda just shooting for an excuse to pin it on religion as far as im concerned

global warming is real (to an extent. Al Gore is still way overboard), and although Hell is real, it is not tangeable, and thus cannot "enlarge itself underneath us" .

no. global warming is caused by the uhealthy gasses that human made machines produce. check out the I"inconvenient thruth" video.
