Business cheating on labor and politicians cheating by pandering for votes.

The only reason politicians want to give drivers licenses to illegals is because then they have a legal ID and could then apply for other ID's and register to vote and vote for candidates that will do things for them.

Businesses want illegals so they don't have to pay overtime, workmans comp, social security or competitive wages. They can also push around illegals.

That is very accurate. If we were talking thousands, okay, but we are talking somewhere between 20 to 30 million. Our government is complacent. It is payoff to fat-cat business. That makes them competitive with our own citizens. Wrong way to govern. Not acceptable any longer. It will eliminate some candidates. Somebody has to take a stand. They avoid it like the plague. It is too hot an issue. The want money from business and they must have votes from disgruntled citizens.

Damn near slave labor. I don't think it's because our leaders own businesses, most don't. Some of our leaders are pandering to business owners, others think they are doing good by allowing illegals in only to be abused (and driving down the pay for all wage earners at the low end of the pay range).

That's part of the problem. The other part being that this country didn't bother to enforce its immigration laws for decades, so now, all the illegals want to come here and then complain about deportation when the get caught.

Yes. The main reason illegals come here is for the jobs. Big businesses are making milllions in profit for hiring dirt cheap illegal aliens. On top of that the employers do not have to pay taxes, SS, nor health insurance for their illegal employees...instead we, the American taxpayers end up paying for their hospital bills, education ,etc.

I think China had a great idea with the Great Wall. But we need to modify it and put .50 cal gun nests on towers every so often and/or turn the area 1 mile around the border into an impact area for our naval gunfire and airforce and artillery.

It's because Mexico sucks. Mexico sucks so much, people are willing to risk their lives to get away from it. Mexico is such a vast morass of suckitude that millions of people there believe it's better to be an illegal immigrant elsewhere than to be a citizen in their home country. If Mexico stopped sucking, people would stop wanting to run away from it.

I think the reason is because the immigrants can't find jobs where they live because the economy is bad and they know somebody will pay them something if they come here. And something, even though it's not much, is better than nothing!

These people are not stupid, they go where the money is and they risk it all, 'cause they know they'll get hired here.
Its simple really, supply and demand..yet they want to build walls..Sometimes I think we deserve the rep we have around the world.
