I definately believe in global warming! I'm only 14 and have noticed its affects on people all over the world, what will happen to the animals, our homes, and our world! The huge hole in the ozone right above Antactica didn't just get there!

If you believe in global warming what do you think we should do to try and stop it?

If you don't belive in global warming, why? And how would you explain all the climate change in Antarctica and over other parts of the world?

If you believe in something, then it isn't science. It's religion. Science is something that is known, like 2+2=4. This can be proven, and no one has to "believe" this is true.

People have to believe in global warming since it cannot be proved. Remember the climate changes all the time. No one can actually prove man is the cause.

Relax and enjoy life. Global warming is going be a thing of the past in a few years.

Global freezing? Explain the snowfall earlier this year in parts of Canada during summer. And South Africa experienced record breaking low temps in 2006-2007.

The ozone hole has been getting smaller since 2000. And nobody knows how long it's been there...perhaps thousands of years?

Y2K rounding error! Al Gore's global warming cause is based upon NASA graphs that say 1998 was the hottest year of the millennium. It turns out that is completely wrong. 1998 was not the hottest year; that distinction goes to the year 1934. They have since revised the calculations after finding this out. I included a link to the article below.

Obviously your teachers are themselves 'brainwashed'.

Ozone is not natural in the atmosphere - it will only last 100 - 200 seconds in nature.
When UV from the Sun hits O2 (what you breath) it ionizes the O2 to become O3 (Ozone) - which only last for 1-3 minutes.
More UV will interact with O2 continuously to 'create' the ozone in a Self Regulating manner.
When there is no SUN there is NO UV (or 'phony' dangers of dreaded UV) - so ozone will not form.
Maybe your teachers should go back to school or teach something they know about?
Don't believe anything they say about 'global warming'!

Everyone believes that it's warming. The problem comes in with whether the government should force corporations to stop raising global temperature. Corporations say that they can only make a small dent in the problem and it would cost too much. Republicans represent corporate American. Democrats represent consumers and environmentalists. See where all the controversy comes from? I think everyone, everywhere should do as much as they can to stop global warming. It should not bankrupt anyone and the United States shouldn't be expected to do more than our part.

I don't believe in global warming. I agree with the scientists who are saying that the slight rise in global temperatures are the result of a natural change and fluctuation that happens over time. We have only been recording the earth's temperatures for the past hundred years or so, so its kind of hard to compare the current temperatures to what has been happening in the past. In the 80s people were saying that we were heading for global cooling and the next ice age was coming. Now its the opposite.

Well well well.....hmmmm what do i say well of course i believe in global warming. I mean the people who don't probably don't even know who the president of the U.S. is no offense...
1. We stop our global consumption
2. develop new ways of cleaner more efficient ways of renewable energy.
3. Well if you live in the U.S. vote for a candidate that will DO SOMETHING
Thank you thank you
that's all i have to say i would go into broader details but i won't because then i would be boring you to death and you would probably just want to stab me a thousand times...OK OK i get it I'll stop now.

would al gore lie? of course there is global warming but is it the smokestack industry or not? that i do not know. it would appear to be the primary culprit amongst the emissions by mankind. china is the primary culprit according to the unreliable news media. but maybe it is the usa and china that makes the big difference. maybe nobody really knows. but the warming at this time is undeniable. the glaciers are melting fast. natural cycle or manmade?

Absolutely!
Just watched two programs recently on
the Sci-Fi channel that will make folks
double think....10 times.

Watch - "Weather-Watch" on the Sci-Fi channel and also their "2007 science discoveries" special
that shows that during the summer of 2007 23% or the ice caps melted.....30 years ahead of previously predicted. And the bees. Bumble bees are disappearing...which will cause a major downfall in pollination and crops. We are in deep trouble.

Yes...very scary!!
And....at the rate that they're melting...
not too much we can do about it now!
We're basically screwed!

No
Increased sunspot activity = greater output, warmer during summer, but look at England, etc. now.
gore's historical record omitted the Little Medieval Warm Period - Why?
He didn't want people to see the Earth got warm w/o him driving his SUVs, claiming carbon credits for his monster house(s).
It's the ultimate in opportunism, but remember, he really won in 2000!

Yes i believe the earth is getting warmer, but from what i understand this is due to a natural phenomenon ocurring every so many thousand years the polar ice cap melts due to the planets alignments, any way that is what i have read and seen on documentaries on the history channel and discovery channel.
