ouch elric!!! , i think you can he is your father and as parents we can easily forgive our children .does this question arise from your previous one ? if it does it will make sense i think ,!!! it may take a bit of time , but offer the olive branch , the more you ponder over it the worse it will become and it will eat away at you . Face the issue tomorrow , he willl respect you for it , (don't take offense) good luck

I hope your dad believes you now when you tell him you have a problem. You can rebuild what's lost when he sees you are trying to cut down /abstain . If your sister's ok with you, maybe she can help build the bridges.

Yes you can rebuild it Elric...but you must do it soon...dont ponder on it..or it will be harder to do. Your Dad has to accept you have a problem and not bury his head in the sand.Good luck.x

I deeply feel for you Elric. try to make peace with your dad, and don't worry things will get better. Family Relations has always been mess up like that throught- out the generation, just do your best tell your dad you love him, and to forgive you and . just leave it like that i wish you and your dad the best take care.

just explain that it you didnt mean it and that you are sorry. you spoke out of turn because you were pissed. he should forgive you if he realises it was the drink talking and not you. why is it that there is always at least one fight at a wedding? ive been to a few and there has always been some drama!

i did not do it at my sister wedding but i have had the situation. i just appologized and we hatched things out, there were some sore words thrown out like alcoholic and drunk but things worked out in the end.

You need to suck up extremely well to fix this one. Something like doing an apology in a public place

Oh Elric we've all been there but what I don't understand is why he doesn't think you've got a problem with drink then.
