We're not trying to convert you. If you believe in God, awesome, but is it so hard to let us believe in the "Big Bang theory"? What happened to freedom of speech and opinion?

Science can support at least half of the data, but there is no proof that God exists...and please don't say the bible, because it was written by humans.

Victor 7707, I'm sorry but you are the type of an ignorant person I'm describing here. I don't believe in all that bull. You can if you want to. I'm not telling you to be an atheist, but is it so hard to respect our opinions?

I never liked the main idea of religion. It tells people to believe in God instead of themselves. The ones in power have used it as a tool to control time and time again. When the belief in ourselves dies out, we become an empty shell.

Power shouldn't lie with government or religion. The power should lie in an already organized system which are the universal laws (physics). If we based our lives on making technology powered by the universal laws, instead of economy, we would already be a lot better.

Why do you think the Inquisition was set up in Europe? Why do you think they mainly persecuted scientists? They saw science as a great threat to their power. If people started questioning about physical laws, wouldn't they start questioning spiritual laws?

Your spirit is limitless. It shouldn't follow any set of laws. Your spirit is the power of your creative mind. You can control the outcome of the physical world with these creative powers (technology).

My ideas may be radically different, but I want people to look at the evidence for themselves. Question everything around you, connect things together, act. Then YOU can decide who you are and why you're here.

When you stop coming here acting like you want to be converted? It also goes the other way. As Catholic I believe in live and let live. There is nothing wrong with the Big Bang theory and it fits well into the creationism view. Most have know idea what freedom of speech means, so I will not go there. Other opinions are what we come here for and as long as they are not hateful and rude I have know problem. I try and understand the other points of view but so many here cannot just give an opinion w/o putting someone down. Remember what mother said, "never argue about religion or politics." Peace MC&HNY

So big bang made Israel huh, did you realize that Israel, about the size of Rhode Island is the most talked about Country in the world, did you ever wonder why, they have no oil or anything really yet every country in the middle east wants that little wide spot in the road, Did you ever ask why Hitler and Stalin tried to wipe them out, Why Iran wants to wipe them out, think about it, how did a big bang bring this all about, Isreal and the Jews, the big bang just selected them out huh, think about it, and here is another question for you, did you know man has never created anything, never, we have invented, but never never created anything, so you see big bang is a lie by our own scientists, we have been programmed to think that education makes you smart yet we have never created anything, never, Now God on the other hand, He created something out of nothing, wow, think about that, go outside and look up, stars, moon, planets, suns, comets and on and on it goes, big bang, no way, please take the time this Christmas and read the Gospel of Matthew in the New Testament of the Bible, read about Jesus, He died on a Cross for you, and the Bible says that you will not go to Heaven if you don't believe in Jesus, and thats more than just a belief to it means a personal relationship with Jesus, we can all say we believe, but to live it is a different story, God Bless You this Christmas, and Merry Christmas!!

Big Bang theory and Christ are not mutually exclusive ideas. You dont have to buy the whole world 7 days thing to buy the ressurrection. besides, that's basically what xians do, they witness others and try to turn them on to a good life. some of the tactics dont work like in the old days. the fire and brimstone stuff is not gonna get many converts in this age.

I am a Christian but I believe in free will..I am always willing to instruct my religion and warmly welcome a convert ..If some Christian tries to convert you ..say, " I respect your religion but I have the right to decide on what I should believe in"..If they don't respect your decision, they are not being good Christians..Jesus never forced people to be Christians but just spread the word and people came to him..

We do have a proof that God exists..He exists in our heart and our mind
We believe that Bible is written by humans..

How about when you stop lumping "Christians" into one big group?

I for one am tired of being associated with fundamentalist proselytizers who feel they've got a moral obligation to beat everyone to death with a Bible.

But since when did part of "Christianity" include disbelieving the Big Bang theory? Since a Baptist preacher started ranting about it?

Although there are a few rather large gaps to fill in that particular theory before it can be presented as indispensible fact...

When the Lord tells us to stop spreading his name.
Your absolutely right.
Everyone has a right to their opinion and we all have free speech, so you dont think that it would be wrong to censor anyone, even if you dont agree with it?
Is not free speech the right to say what you want, would you then censor the Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Jews, political rallies, conservationists, atheists?
Once it starts, where would it end?

You are trying to convert our children in public schools. What happened to our freedom of speech and opinion? We have been cast out persona non grata. You are pretty one-sided on this.

As for your details, I am afraid you are dead wrong on both. I have the evidence, its because you do not wish to explore it is why you say it does not exist.

As for your assertion that the Bible is written by man--I work at the home base of a global software company. The president is a very powerful man, well known in Washington DC. Now, if my boss sent me a memo asking me to design a project, and I found out that it was actually written by his secretary's assistant, should I ignore it or fulfill it? Is it the word of my boss or a lowly temp?

God is the Author of the Bible--yes, this can be proven. Penned by temps? Definitely. Should it be obeyed, or ignored? Is it truly God's Word, or the writings of mere man?

If one chooses to ignore the Bible because it is "written by man", then that individual should not be surprised if the Boss fires them for inactivity. ref. Matthew 25:26-29

I'm Christian and I am not trying to convert others. Every religion has those that spread the word. In this new age we are in many feel the urgency of a spiritual awakening. Can you feel it?
