1st Humanity, for without this fantastic development there would be on concept of Society & Culture leading to Religion & Spirituality.
At least that we would be aware of.
2nd The advance of science and technology which has provided you with the means to do so.
But I have a feeling that you are fully aware of this.
And yes, I agree that these things have come about as a result of open minded thinking.
There I will stop as all other conclusions are unnecessary.

Well, I understand your point, but I choose to look at it from another perspective - at one point in time, we did not have that right. In some countries people STILL do not have that right.
So I'm pretty thankful that I do have that right along with the right to burn our flag and call the president a monkey and practice no religion.

You should be incredibly thankful...those who have become part of the Godborg could easily have us killed for failing to assimilate to their programming. The fact that we allowed to speak out and not be killed (at least legally) by the Godstapo is very reassuring...now if I only we could get them to take opposing ideas seriously...but we shouldn't hope for too much...
