It is a play on wilderbeast and Hillary Clinton. This says Neal Boortz coined the term.

The term hildabeast is probably derived from Wildebeest and is often used in a derogatory manner.
Also spelled 'Hildebeest'. There is also a comic book superhero called the Wildebeest.

Where I live, Hildabeast is a slang term for students who attend St Hilda's college, the only girls-only college left in Oxford.

It may have different meanings in other places.

If you mean wildebeest, it's also called a gnu (what's gnu with you?), which is a type of antelope.
