I have two kittens that are stuck on my roof. My dad will think I put them up there and he will hit me! How can I get them down fast?

Tell your dad and say, "why would I want to hurt my cats" just tell him and I'm sure he'll understand. Trust me things won't work out if you go behind his back and try to do things...hurry!

First of all, your dad should never hit you. That's a real dumb reason to hit a person and if he does, talk to someone about it that you trust. You shouldn't have to live in fear like that!
Second, stray cats on roofs are actually not uncommon. Most of the time, the cats will get down on their own because they've gotten up there themselves. But if they look very small, it's possible the kittens' mom gave birth to them up there and may be coming back to nurse. If they seem friendly and willing to come close to your for food or petting, then the cats are probably not wild and belong to somebody. If you have another adult to talk to, ask them to help you retrieve the cats off the roof and then take them to an animal shelter. If you just let them go, you'll probably end up with the cats back on the roof.

Open a can of food out side.. or open a winder leading to the roof... Then open the can out side the window *just stick our hands out* Put the food in a dish and put it on the window sill with fresh water wet and dry food.. cat nip maybe... hold a cat toy outside your window and try to get there attention. If you get one in, put it out of the room and close the door so it doesn't escape again... The next cat you can do the same.. just wait.. Also if you know about scruffing, scruff it by the neck... It doesn't hurt them it is what there mom does, totally natual dont be afraid to do it lightly as soon as you get your cat at arms reach scruff it so it doesn't get away again

Tell him you're not that thick or mean.

Try rattling the cat-biscuits box or banging their dishes, that might shift them. Of course there's the outside chance that they actually can't get down on their own. In which case get someone to help you with a ladder but DON'T go up after them if you're on your own - get an adult to help.

If all this fails -hide behind your Mum or your Gran or someone! He should NOT be hitting you (although I can understand him being a bit unimpressed with all 3 of you LOL)

Puppies in the basement!!!!!

Oh . . . we're not just giving shout-outs to a few of our favorite things? ;)

Seriously, though, since you couldn't possibly have done anything to put the kitties on the roof, why do you think daddy will hit you?

Regardless, you shouldn't do anything, except to tell your parents about it. You don't want anything to happen to the kitties, do you? Of course, not!

Why would he think that? Have you done mean things to the kittens before?
There's only one way, go up after them if you can't call them down. They're probably freaked out and won't climb down by themselves.
