you would have to be a professional athlete body builder to be that weight at 5'7" and be okay, otherwise it might be good to lose a few lbs., Its not really the weight but the body fat percentage that really counts.

Think Iron Mike Tyson in his prime was 5'10" and 220 lbs.

Same thing if you are getting close to 300 lbs, i've found no matter how tall you are ie. 6'5" 300 is too much.

If you use Body Mass Index the answer is yes. I am a personal trainer who is 5'11" and weight 235 and I have a 16% body fat. I'm not overweight. It depends on where the weight is coming from.

Pant size is a better gauge if your friend is wearing a pant size over 36", it is more likely he is overweight.

it extremely relies upon on your physique physique type, your bone density, the quantity of muscle, genetics, etc. i does not get too worked up over the size; in simple terms seem interior the mirror. in case you think of you're actually not looking in fantastic condition, then upload some pastime on your every day existence and consume extra healthful ingredients. and don't pay attention to the jerks on right here who advised you it is fat! bear in mind that the objective is to be healthful, not bone skinny. good success!
