You say alot of older pagan beliefs are Myth. This would include alot of Shamanic, Druidic, and ancient worship practices. However have you ever thought, in all fairness, that your spirituality may be the myth. (And if you ask me the same, yes ive questioned my own belief and still stay with it.)

I simply say...."Seek your own truth." What you yourself believe is all that matters, because you are the one who has to make the choices surrounding your beliefs and live up to the choices you make.
As far as my personal spirituality goes, there is both fact and myth; however I do not expect others to believe what I do, nor should they expect me to believe their versions. Even to this day I am still questioning things, but it is by questioning things that we acquire more knowledge; and by acquiring more knowledge this enables us to make whatever changes need be made in our ultimate search for the truth.

The more you know about Christianity in relationship to other beliefs such as Isis and Osiris and Cybele of Greece you can see a constant strain of thought or thematic development throughout the ages. I do not say that Christianity is more or less valid than some religions but, in many ways it is better than a few. I would certainly prefer it to the human sacrifices of the ancient Celts and Meso-Americans.

It seeks the same truth that all the established religions of today seek - an idea of what the reality of our nature and our position in the universe is. Christ shares this with Krishna and Buddha.

I'd say the older the "myth", the more likely it is that was true (in that they are closer to time when "creation" was supposed to occur, even if they were off the mark by a few millenia...or a few billion years, they are still closer than we are).

To each his own. I believe there is power in what you believe. Where that power comes from is a different story.
