In a nutshell, "do your thing", or "do what you feel is best". When I was a teenager it would have meant to begin rapping or singing, but that's probably not the case in this situation.

I suppose that would depend on what your co-worker said that in response to....I'm guessing here, but perhaps you or someone told the co-worker they were going to the restroom? Crude, certainly, but maybe that is what the co-worker meant? (go ahead and pee, in other words)

i think it means do what you think is right, basically go with the flow... whatever happens, happens.
