Yeah i know...ouch.The dentist numbed the area obviously, but that was at half past six and my mouth is still completely numb! I'm really hungry and can't eat properly cause it just dribbles out. How long will it take for this to wear off?

Maybe you should call your dentist and not ask a bunch of idiots on Yahoo.
Now with that out of the way. I had my Wisdom teeth pulled and it took almost 12 hours to completely wear off.

It all depends on 1) how much numbbing stuff he shot in and 2) how sensitive you are to the stuff. You might have to stick with food through a straw for tonight and have a big breakfast in the morning.

Should be starting to return after 4 hours - although if the dentist used more than usual anaesthetic because it was likely to be a difficult removal it could last longer.

Poor you.
Big kiss better X
You'll be feeling alright by tomorrow.
Best to just drink soup through a straw tonight.

i've had a tooth pulled out, so I know what you mean! If it won't stop go back to your dentist to check everything's ok. Hope it will be better soon!

Try a vicadin and a beer. You'll never even know you've been to the dentist.
