Apparently they do think that secure means open. Or maybe they think that terrorists are too stupid to come to the United States through Mexico or Canada. The United States will never be secure until we close our borders and force everyone who wants to come in to prove that they have a right to be here. Not just that they want to be here. You have a right to be here if you follow ALL of our laws, not just the ones you choose to follow.

We don't need another department to lie to the American people. When I see someone write open boarders, it to me looks like they are trying to address just the Mexican boarders. If the United States Government stop playing the games with the Mexican Government, wrote up laws that both would uphold, we wouldn't have all the problems we do. At one time there was good programs that both the Mexican workers and the American people work with.
Now when it comes to boarders, every way and means to come into the United States is open to whomever. STOP granting AMNESTY/CITZENSHIP to every person that can't live in their own country. Make it a requirement that without a good education, means to support themselves, a trade to support the American way of life, they aren't to be admitted into the United States. To the ones that say they have a right. I also have a right that I don't want to support them.

It is a joke. Homeland security is to monitor us .......for our safety. (lol) Any moron knows you can't secure a country without securing it's borders and ports. That's like securing your home while you leave all your doors and windows open. I have to be searched traveling in my own country but God forbid you ask someones legal status? It's a huge joke a kindergartener can see through.

I believe that in their effort to please the world they have disregarded their position of watching over the homeland. It's like some of these people that are top contributers on this site, they like to tickle the ears of the participants instead of answering in defense of our country. These are those that believe that by being nice to every body they are going to bring peace to the world. We have to be diligent about implementing the laws & rules that protect & secure our country.!!!

I agree we need to close the borders, but there is a lot more to it than that. And we haven't been attacked since 9/11, so I guess they're doing something right.
Vote for Rudy!
